「Raise」

会社で自分の上司に “I want to raise.” と言うとき、何を意味しているのか？

意味：
You want an increase in the salary / You want more money.

ex.

She was so happy when she got the raise that she didn’t stop smiling for a week.

Guess what !! My boss just gave me a 30% raise.

Do you think we can afford to give a raise to all of employees in this recession ?
